This podcast & article caught my attention as I wondered why I would change my current position.
Do I want to consider a CTM or Project Manager position? Do I want a role supervising others, as opposed to just supporting other team members? I’m thinking where will I make a difference.
Anita, thank you so much for sharing your thoughts. I think it is admirable that you are concerned with making a difference; however, I believe that anyone in any role can make a difference. Said differently, I believe that effecting change is just as possible supporting others.
Actually, even in my leadership role I see myself as more of a servant and support person to my team than supervisor. I would be t that even the most notable scientists, physicians, and world leaders have made a difference because they are doing something they are passionate about. Something they believe in.
Follow your passion. You can’t go wrong with doing what you love.
