just want to search jobs
I understand! Our clinical jobs can be found at http://www.craresources.com/jobseekers.html. Happy Hunting!
Hello,
I have been working as a Clinical Laboratory Manager for a number of years and I am very motivated to start a career as a clinical research coordinator/associate. Though I don’t have any Clinical Trials experience, I do have experience working on several cross functional teams to complete projects and can multitask very effectively. Additionally working in the clinical field for so many years has given me experience writing SOPs and understanding many complex scientific procedures. I feel this would be an easy transition for me since it’s in the same realm. I would also welcome starting as a temp to get lots of diversified experience. I just need to know what my next steps should be as this seems like a difficult field to break into if you don’t have any experience.
I am going to activate my subscription but I would love any feedback available.
Thanks,
Marlene Lemay
Marlene, I do realize how difficult it is to “break” into the Clinical business. In today’s market, you are competing with those who actually have the experience you are seeking, so from a competition standpoint, it is tough.
But not impossible! Of course we can keep our eyes open for you; feel free to send your resume to aroberts@craresources.com and I will be happy to set up a profile for you. Please note that we never share your information with any of our clients without your written authorization. I do, however, believe in being 100% transparent. Therefore, I do want to confess that we don’t receive a lot of entry level positions into our firm. However, if you are open to starting as a Clinical Trial Assistant or even a Document Control person, that may help a lot.
The other option I would provide to you is to seek out positions with companies who are known for hiring entry level individuals and training them with their own proprietary methods. With your background you would be competitive for those positions. The companies who are best known for this practice include Quintiles, PPD, and PRA International. The pay won’t be great at first, but after a couple of years you will be able to be significantly more competitive for those coveted clinical positions.
I hope this helps!

Hello,
I am a recent graduate from Georgetown University with a Masters in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology looking for employment on the east coast especially Boston.
My field of interest is clinical research and data Management.
I would welcome any input for immediate placements.
Mrinmayi, thank you so much for sending your resume to us. I really appreciate your interest in our company. While our firm focuses solely on the placement of Clinical Research professionals, it is rare for us to place entry level positions. However, our clients do occasionally hire us to source entry level roles; therefore I have created a profile for you and with your permission I will contact you for any future positions you may find to be of interest.
Mrinmayi, I look forward to working with you in the future.

I have recently completed three years/5 trials on a device belonging to a company located in San Diego. My responsibilities consisted of conducting Site Initiation Visits for 25+ sites, Study Coordinator Data Entry Training for 30+sites, Recruitment resource nurse for study coordinators and CRA for 3 sites over past year.
My vast experience as a research nurse coordinator, ICU Nurse and research department administrator provided the skills necessary to help coordinators in identification and recruiting of difficult to qualify ICU subjects.
I am currently seeking a Contract CRA position or Contract CRC based out of San Diego.
Thank You,
Linda R.
